Our History
The sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy came to Tanzania in the year 2004. They started their Health Care Ministry in Dumila, Morogoro Region. Then extended their services in Education in collaboration with Missionaries of Dt. Francis De Sales in Tabora. Now the sisters started their Educational ministry in Chemba. St. Joseph Mission School is Catholic institution belongs to the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy. It is an International missionary Society, based in France, Annecy. St. Joseph''s Mission School, Chemba is established in 2020 by the Srs. of St. Joseph Annecy Tanzania. It is within the Religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Kondoa. It is recognized by the Educational Department of Government of Tanzania. The School Registration No. EM.18297. The medium of instruction is English, with due emphasis on the study of National Language.
